Your role will involve working on various projects, from new constructions to renovations, ensuring that every detail is executed with precision and flair. What you'll do

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment.
  • Execute decorative techniques such as plastering and stucco application to enhance aesthetic appeal.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients to select color schemes and finishes that align with their vision.
  • Perform maintenance tasks including caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation to ensure quality results.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to construction site protocols.
  • Conduct restoration work on existing structures to preserve their beauty and integrity.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects.
  • Strong knowledge of color theory and its application in design.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess project needs accurately.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in construction site environments with a solid understanding of safety practices.
  • Proficiency in carpentry skills including frame carpentry and concrete finishing.
  • Background in masonry work or industrial painting techniques is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
