Apsida Life Science have partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company to provide the following role:

  • Job Title: Clinical Trial/Research Manager
  • Location: UK
  • Duration: Permanent

With expertise across all phases of clinical development, it focuses on delivering high-quality, efficient, and scientifically driven trial management. The organization operates internationally, combining advanced technology with therapeutic expertise to accelerate the development of safe and effective medical treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the planning, initiation, execution, and close-out of global clinical trials in accordance with ICH-GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, investigators, vendors, and sponsors to ensure seamless communication and alignment across all stages of the trial.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge in at least two therapeutic areas-
    Cardiovascular, Gastroenterology, Metabolic Diseases, or Oncology
    , to provide strategic and scientific input throughout study design and conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with company and sponsor protocols, monitor study progress, and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity and operational excellence.
  • Support and mentor clinical research associates and project staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining a collaborative, high-performing trial management environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in at least two of the following therapeutic areas: Cardiovascular, Gastroenterology, Metabolic diseases and Oncology
  • 3+ years experience in Clinical Development/Research
  • PhD and/or Master's degree in a relevant Life Science degree
  • Experience in working in CROs or Pharmaceutical companies
