Key responsibilities
- Adhere to Pre and Post Litigation Procedures: Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures throughout the life of a claim, aiming for effective and economical case conclusions.
- Claims Validation: Cross-check claims details to ensure they align with our records.
- Underwriting Scrutiny: Vigilantly identify and refer any questionable underwriting for further review.
- Establish Loss Circumstances: Clearly ascertain the circumstances surrounding any loss and conduct appropriate liability enquiries.
- Validate Accounts and Authorize Payments: Confirm the accuracy of accounts and fee notes before authorizing payments.
- Maintain Accurate Estimates: Keep precise estimates updated throughout the life of the claim, adjusting where necessary.
Skills and experience
- Legal Environment Experience: Experience working in a legal setting an advantage.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships.
- Articulate and Numerate: Highly articulate with strong numerical abilities.
- Customer Service Focus: A commitment to delivering first-class customer service.
- Organisational Abilities: Highly organised with an innate ability to prioritise and deliver effectively
