Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated FEMALE Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to a Young person living in his own home. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and independence of our client with diverse needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to young people's lives through personalised support and care.

This is a 1:1 package with occasional 2:1 support provided during holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised patient care, assisting with daily activities such as supporting with the following clinical interventions. Knowledge of Gastro /Jeg and suctioning, moving and handling
  • Administer medication following prescribed protocols and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with feeding regime, ensuring nutritional requirements are met
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental wellbeing
  • Monitor health and report any concerns promptly to Ambition community healthcare
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

Skills

  • Experience in supporting individuals in their own homes is highly desirable
  • Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards vulnerable individuals
  • Willingness to undertake additional training
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
