I am currently working on behalf of a large secondary school based in Cheltenham, that is looking for a subject specialist. Whether you are a chemist, biologist or physicist, the school needs a passionate person to join the Science department and lead classes across Key Stages 3 and 4. 
 

The role is full time so is perfect for an ECT who is just starting their journey as a teacher and is looking for an opportunity to develop their skills and fully complete their qualifications. However, is it also a great opportunity for an experienced instructor, who adores teaching and working with children and has at least 1 year experience in the UK educational system. 

The role will involve

  • Planning and marking across all key stages
  • A strong understanding of the English Curriculum
  • Temporary role which would lead to a permanent position
  • Working proactively with other members of the department

What the client is looking for

The headteacher is looking for a kind, approachable individual, who can show excellent organisational skills, be assertive, and must have a QTS.

The school I am looking for really prioritizes strong subject knowledge and a teacher that is a breath of fresh air. Someone who can engage their students in their learning but also push them to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom.
