Senior Finance Business Partner (Contract)

Harlow / Hybrid (50% on-site) | 6+ month contract | £450–£500 per day (inside IR35) | 40 hours per week

We're seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner / Analyst to provide strategic financial support across key business functions. This role will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, support investment decisions, and enhance business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships with senior leaders and key departments.
  • Manage and improve forecasting and reporting for headcount, costs, and performance.
  • Help create budgets and plans, monitor progress, and find ways to reduce costs.
  • Support leadership meetings by preparing financial reports and updates.
  • Make sure all departments are aligned and working efficiently together.
  • Help develop dashboards, KPIs, and service agreements to track performance.
  • Connect sales, production, and operations teams to improve planning and efficiency.
  • Assist with new budgeting methods, financial governance, and risk tracking.
  • Support cost-saving and restructuring projects and the rollout of new finance systems.
  • Manage and track capital spending and business change projects.
  • Ensure investments deliver good returns and benefits are measured.
  • Support forecasts for asset purchases and depreciation.
  • Help prepare business cases for new projects or investments.
  • Support senior management meetings reviewing investments and progress.
  • Track approvals, ensure project milestones are met, and report on risks and opportunities.

About You:

  • Part or fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a finance business partnering or analytical role
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable presenting to senior audiences and handling complex data
  • Proficient in Excel, SAP, and other financial systems
  • Eligible for SC clearance
