Are you an HVAC professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers, and shaping technical solutions that really make a difference? We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our TFS Technical team and play a key role in supporting our branches, sales teams, and customers across a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC products.

This is a hands-on, advisory role where your technical knowledge, communication skills, and commercial awareness will directly influence customer satisfaction and business success.

What you will be doing
  • Providing high-quality technical support and customer service to internal teams and external customers, including Branch Managers, Internal Sales, Account Managers, and wider business functions
  • Understanding customer requirements and engineering value by recommending equivalent or alternative products across multiple manufacturers, balancing performance, availability, and cost
  • Interpreting and communicating technical information across a broad product range, including split systems, multi-split systems, VRF, ventilation, heat pumps, and controls

    Coordinating technical resources and sharing product knowledge clearly with sales teams and colleagues
  • Ensuring accurate, timely product selection and technical advice in line with agreed turnaround times
  • Working collaboratively with technical colleagues and sales teams to develop strong product and technical propositions
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers while staying up to date with industry developments
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and contributing to working groups as required
What we are looking for
  • Solid experience within the Air Conditioning Industry
  • Strong fundamental Air Conditioning knowledge with a technically minded approach
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
  • Organised, self-reliant, and comfortable working independently
  • Good commercial awareness and the ability to support sales conversations
  • Confident using Google Suite and handling administrative tasks
