Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in the role of PREP/Chef. This position involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety, and providing excellent service to our customers. Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
  • Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
  • Support the team during busy periods, including serving customers when required
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements based on customer feedback

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary role is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
  • Experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary
