About us

Hearts swim school is an Edinburgh based swim school. We are professional, innovative, creative and our goal is to give every child the opportunity to learn to swim and be safe in and around water.

Our teachers are all highly qualified and experienced and teach to the highest level. They are passionate about swimming and are invested in their swimmers progress.

Swim Instructor

Duties:

- To teach small groups of children to learn to swim following our learn to swim programme.

- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the skill level of each swimmer.

- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and provide constructive feedback to improve skills.

- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant presence.

- Maintain accurate records of participant progress and attendance.

Experience:

- Previous experience as a swim instructor is required.

- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, strokes, and water safety practices.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and interact with swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

  • SSTQ or level 2 qualifications essential.
