Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional service to our guests. As a member of the bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently serving drinks and food.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers with precision and care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the till, demonstrating basic math skills for accurate billing.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management, reporting any shortages to management.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain efficient service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
  • A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within the bar staff team.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
