Business Development Manager – Outdoor Equipment (Terra Nova Equipment)

Location: Clay Cross, Chesterfield

Terra Nova Equipment – a leading name in the outdoor equipment industry – is looking for a Business Development Manager to help shape our growth journey.

What you'll do:

  • Lead new customer acquisition through targeted prospecting, outreach, and relationship building
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to deliver sales strategies and hit ambitious growth targets
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to spot new opportunities
  • Represent Terra Nova at international meetings, trade events, and exhibitions
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to ensure seamless customer experiences

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally in B2B environments
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Confident self-starter with a results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable using MS Office (Excel, Word) and CRM tools
  • Flexible, proactive, and willing to travel internationally when required
