Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor specialising in Groundworks, Civils and RC Frame and is based in Brighton. You must have JCT experience and will be responsible for cost control, cost planning, cost management, and cost reporting. The role will involve preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), managing project finances, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate with project teams to track project budgets and provide regular financial updates.
Qualifications
- Experience in Cost Control and Cost Management
- Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Cost Planning
- Strong skills in Cost Reporting and financial tracking
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Previous experience in the construction or civil engineering industry is advantageous
