Role in summary

As a Motion Designer at ZEAL, you'll bring energy and emotion to our FMCG brands through bold, dynamic motion graphics and video content. From social campaigns to hype reels, you'll turn static ideas into stories that move and inspire.

This role is made for a designer with strong graphic foundations who has grown their craft into motion, someone who thinks conceptually, designs with purpose, and animates with impact.


What you'll be doing:
    • Concept, design, and animate motion graphics for brand films, hype reels, awards entries, social content, digital out of home displays, retail displays, e-commerce and AR across a variety of different brands.
  • Collaborate with the Creative, Strategy and Client Service teams to deliver high-impact visual content that aligns with our clients' objectives.
  • Working with brand assets, key art and scripts to create impactful motion pieces.
  • Involved in post-production, including editing, colour correction and grading, and sound design.
  • Staying current with design and animation trends, continually pushing the creative boundaries for our brands including awareness of AI-driven innovations transforming video production and post-production processes.
  • Bring innovative ways of working and championing your motion expertise by sharing your knowledge with the rest of the motion team.
  • Pitching ideas and presenting in front of both clients and colleagues.
What you'll bring to the role:
    • Experience in motion design, ideally within a creative agency,
  • Background in graphic design with a strong eye for layout, typography, and composition.
  • Expertise using the Adobe Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a mix of static and motion work, especially brand/product storytelling.
  • Excellent understanding of timing, pacing, and visual rhythm to build emotion through animation.
  • Knowledge of the post-production process, colour grading and working with LOG footage.
  • An understanding of how music and sound design enhance rhythm, mood, and storytelling within motion.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Copywriting skills aren't essential, but an understanding of tone, narrative, and structure is a definite plus.
