Activ8 is seeking an After School Play Leader to work at our Wraparound Care setting at Bessacarr Primary School.

Are you passionate and love to inspire and engage with children? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are seeking a Play Leader to join our team and create a fun and enriching environment for children.

These part-time positions offer flexibility to accommodate your family commitments with you working 3 pm-6pm Monday to Friday at our After School Clubs.

We are on the lookout for someone who shares our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and support to children and their families.

Role Overview:

As a Play Leader, you will take on a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our high-quality Ofsted accredited settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Leading and coordinating various activities, tailored to different age groups.
  • Maintaining professionalism in interactions with children, parents, colleagues and schools.
  • Safeguarding the well-being of all children attending our clubs.
  • Creating and delivering activities for children to engage in

Qualifications

  • EYFS level 2/3 (preferred)
  • Experience with children and childcare
  • Background in nursery or early childhood education
  • Strong communication skills, especially with young children
  • Ability to lead and manage a group of children effectively
  • Proficiency in English and a valid driving license

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour
