About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong multi-trade background to join our dynamic and growing team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple contracts across a range of construction and maintenance disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple contracts from inception to completion across various trade disciplines (joinery, plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc.)
- Lead project teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and progress updates.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor management.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality standards.
- Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
About You
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction, maintenance, or facilities sector.
- Strong multi-trade knowledge and understanding of building services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen and contract administration experience.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
- SMSTS / SSSTS
- CSCS card
- NVQ or Degree in Construction Management or related discipline
- Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
