London, Greater London, United Kingdom WTW Full time £50,000 - £80,000 per year
Description

Join Our Health and Benefits Team as a Health & Benefits - Risk Consultant in our London office, working in a flexible hybrid model. If you're passionate about helping organisations build healthier, more resilient workforces? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Risk Consultancy team as a Health & Benefits - Risk Consultant, where you'll play a key role in supporting clients across all aspects of workforce health management.

In this role, you will provide expert consulting services—advising clients on risk and health-related insurances and helping them implement effective solutions that support employee wellbeing. Your work will directly influence how organisations protect, manage, and enhance the health of their people.

You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for the full spectrum of group insurance services. This includes market broking, renewals, day-to-day administration, and strategic consulting. You will also support clients with underwriting, funding models, benefits, scheme governance, and absence management.

If you're seeking a role with purpose, impact, and variety, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the world of employee health and benefits.

The Role:

To work with WTW Consultants and its clients on the provision and selection of risk and related insurances.

  • Provide strategic consultative advice to clients around the design, delivery and ongoing management of their benefit programmes, working with other consultants within the team.
  • Proactively update own knowledge of changes in legislation through talking to other associates and reading appropriate news briefs/publications. Apply this knowledge to day-to-day work.
  • Manage providers for own client base using negotiation and influencing skills as appropriate.
  • Servicing, consulting with and retaining existing clients with a high level of service and credibility.
  • Plan and organise renewals.
  • Design and redesign of benefits.
  • Liaise with providers and insurers for information.
  • Assist with re-broking exercises, analysis and verification of providers' contract terms.
  • Deal with queries from clients.
  • Maintain quality control procedures.
  • Development of other colleagues' technical knowledge and experience of the risk market, including market developments and best practice.

Enjoy a benefits package designed to help you thrive, both professionally and personally. You'll receive 25 days of annual leave plus an extra WTW day to relax and recharge. Our comprehensive health and wellbeing offering includes private healthcare, life insurance, group income protection, and regular health assessments, all giving you peace of mind. Secure your future with our defined contribution pension scheme, featuring matched contributions up to 10% from the company.

We support your growth and balance with hybrid working options, access to an employee assistance programme, and a fully paid volunteer day to make a difference in your community. On top of these, you can opt into a variety of additional perks including an electric vehicle car scheme, share scheme, cycle-to-work programme, dental and optical cover, critical illness protection, and much more. Start making the most of your career and wellbeing with a range of benefits tailored for you.
