We have a great opportunity for an Administrator to join the ICP team based from our offices in Sittingbourne within our Connected Cities business. Currently we have a long term contract across Kent maintaining LED street lighting lamps across the county.
Key activities
- Work effectively and efficiently when carrying out their tasks to ensure deadlines are met with planned and completed works
- Build pre-templated spreadsheets with information from programme and notify UKPN, SSE, & IDNOs of all upcoming works in the correct time frame
- Build folders for all working areas and create pre-templated spreadsheet with completed works, gather information required for the adopting utilities and send back in the correct time frame as per adopting utilities requirements
- Build job folders for Civils Sub-Contractors with information they need to complete works, including: working instructions, stats & permit information
- Raise permits for works required within the department and speak with other departments within Equans where they are required to raise permits for their works which we will work under.
- Apply for any utility maps for new works using Linesearch or NetMaps
- Create POs for Adopting Utilities & Sub-Contractors and any others as and when required
- Work with the supervisor and operations manager to ensure all information is in the programme, and keep up to date with relevant information, IE. permits refused or granted, any works cancelled or add in new jobs as instructed by the Connections Team
- Answer or forward any queries from internal departments and external clients where required
- Open and close permits on a daily basis using Street Manager
- Keep all external trackers up to date as and when required
- To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- GCSE grade C or equivalent in English essential.
- High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workload.
- Computer literate (Office 365).
- Attention to detail.
- Professional and welcoming manner.
- Able to work autonomously and is self-motivated but also able to function in a team environment.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new systems
