Job Description – Pre-school lead - Nursery Nurse Level 3 To work with children up to 4 years at the nursery, we also run an afterschool club which caters for 4-11 years at our other setting.

Part of the role is to help/ support the team to maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the setting. We are looking for a qualified member of staff to join the team. We are flexible with hours and are able to offer either full or part time hours, expect to be offered between 16-40 hours. Competitive rate of pay for the right candidate. For the right applicant we would consider term time only. This is to work directly with children accessing EE, and to run an Estyn inspection, in approx six years time.

  • This qualification ideally level 3, would consider a relevant cert with experience in this area and committed to work towards a qualification.
  • Applicants must have experience with Early Years Wales and to support a small team.

The full list can be found on the Care Council For Wales website. Holywell child care is a privately owed children's day nursery which has been open for over 22 years. We have a very low staff turn over, many staff have been with us since the formative years, of which most have completed or extended their child care quantification with us.

Due to the ongoing success of the business we are looking for a qualified pre-school lead to join the team. We also run the after school club in a local school so some hours of work may be at our other setting in Greenfield.

The successful applicant will have to show a willingness to work to a high standard offering care and education and support up to 12 years old

Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS. The hours of opening are Mon- Fri 7am-6pm, we expect to be able to offer between 16-40 hours per week within these opening times, it is advisable that applicants consider travel arrangements. Any offer of employment will be subject to a six month probationary period. Good rate of pay above NMW.
