Under the direction of the Director, the Manager of Business Process Systems will play an essential role in the maintenance and optimization of operational performance by leveraging internal systems and automation opportunities. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and optimize systems within the revenue cycle through ownership as well as a leveraged partnership with IT and automation.

They will serve an essential role in the process optimization of revenue cycle operations by partnering with operations for best practices. The primary responsibility of this role is to be an operations manager for best practice implementation and operations, leading a team in the support of centralized support functions. The position will play an essential role in the optimization of operational performance by leveraging internal systems to increase operational efficiencies. This position will interface regularly with operations leaders, providing enhanced communication and visibility.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with IT/automation as well as operational leadership to maintain, recommend/optimize systems that are leveraged by the central revenue cycle leadership as well as recommendations/optimizations for enhancements or new system suggestions.
  • Coordinate with COE, IT, Automation, and revenue cycle leaders to determine automation and bot opportunities and create a process for prioritization, build, and deployment.
  • Develop strategies or infrastructure level recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency, and practices of EIQ or other internal systems.
  • Monitor EIQ system changes to ensure pilots and deploys are handled effectively with a focus on mitigating risk to the business.
  • Collaborate with IT on continuously improving the process of managing system changes from the point of requirement to full deploy.
  • Drive continuous improvement of team analytics by ensuring that any system changes that may impact reporting are identified and managed.
  • Support creation of SOPs, tip sheets, design of technical training, and development of professional curriculum as it relates to systems.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing technology and business processes to support organizational growth and optimization.
  • Share knowledge with other team members to maximize overall team effectiveness in supporting change and usage of key systems.
  • Prepare and present quality reports of review findings and recommendations to operations leadership teams for review and approval.
  • Identify and document operational, compliance, and quality risks and make recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of business processes in scope for assigned reviews and document the processes.

Work Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of similar job experience
  • 3 to 5 years of people leadership experience

Minimum Education: 

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience, Computer Science preferred

Required Certifications: 

  • HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) within 9 months of hire
