Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and reliable Commercial plumber to join our established FM team, working on a variety of commercial contracts within Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who takes pride in their work, values strong customer service, and is looking to join a company that offers ongoing training and development.
This is a varied role that will include both maintenance and installations within commercial settings. We have a wide range of customers including MOD, Heathcare, Manufacturing, Hospitality, industrial and commercial.
Key Duties
- Install commercial appliances and pipework to current regulations
- Carry out PPM servicing
- Liaise with clients and site contacts in a professional manner
- Ensure all works comply with Gas Safe, health and safety, and site protocols
- Pipework alterations and new installations (steel, copper, press-fit)
- General plumbing and heating tasks across commercial plant rooms and systems
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance teams as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on plumbing systems to identify issues.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in pipework and commercial installations
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving license
- Must be able to pass an Enhanced (Advanced) DBS Check
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various gas systems.

Essential Criteria:
- Experience with commercial plant rooms and associated systems
- Strong pipe installation skills
- Customer-focused and solution-driven
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to pass and maintain an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable Qualifications:
- Unvented hot water
- LPG or OFTEC
- PASMA / IPAF / CSCS
- Air source heat pump
