Position Title: Locum Middle Grade Registrar (ST3+)

  • Neurology
  • Rheumatology
  • Dermatology
  • Public Health / Community Medicine

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients under the supervision of senior consultants.
  • Participate in ward rounds, clinics, theatres, and on-call duties as required.
  • Assess, investigate, diagnose, and manage patients appropriately.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Contribute to teaching, audit, and clinical governance activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
  • Participate in handovers and ensure continuity of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
  • Minimum ST3+ level or equivalent experience.
  • Recent NHS experience (within the last 12 months preferred).
  • Valid ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification (required).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working within the chosen specialty in a UK hospital setting.
  • Additional life support qualifications (e.g., ATLS, PALS, NLS depending on specialty).
  • Evidence of participation in clinical audit and teaching.

Remuneration:

  • Competitive hourly rate in line with NHS agency locum pay scales.
  • Payment via umbrella company / PAYE (as agreed).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £56.49-£85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
