We are one of the UK's leading sports and dancing coaching organisations. With over 12 years' experience and an innovative approach to sports coaching we have been able to sustain a motivated team delivering outstanding coaching sessions, working with over 35,0000 children in over 150 schools per week.
Due to continued growth and success we are now recruiting for experienced 'Holiday Club Leaders' to join the team. We are seeking individuals who have experience of working in multi-sports holiday clubs with proven leadership skills. port for children with an enthusiastic approach. The positions would suit an experienced coach or an individual who has an enthusiastic approach with children, organised and can communicate efficiently and effectively. We are passionate about the quality of our coaching and these are important roles within our business.
Holiday Club Leader Responsibilities:
- Signing In/Signing out kids everyday
- Keeping the venues clean and tidy and providing evidence of this daily
- Leading and delivering all sessions in a variety of different sports, games and activities
- Overseeing the children throughout the day
- Dealing with any first aid incidents
- Dealing with and handling any situations that may arise during the day
- Dealing with parents – making them aware of any injuries, issues, answering any queries they may have.
- Handling any safeguarding issues and concerns and reporting it to the appropriate people
- Being the first point of call for other members of the team who are working alongside you
- Supporting and coordinating the delivery of sports coaching sessions
- Delivery of sessions in a variety of holiday club venues
- Reinforcing learning and behaviour routines
- Encouraging full integration into class activities
- Provide a fun and safe learning environment for all children
- Provide excellent customer service to both schools and parents
To be considered for this role you should have:
· At least 1 NGB Level 2 coaching certificate (Desirable)
· Confident classroom / group management (Desirable)
· Be friendly and approachable with a 'can do' attitude (Desirable)
· A solid team player (Desirable)
· Knowledge of Safeguarding and safe practice (Desirable)
· Creativity and imagination (Essential)
· Planning and organisational skills (Desirable)
· Able to pass an enhanced DBS check (Essential)
· The ability to work with children and schools to achieve positive outcomes (Desirable)
· Full driving license and vehicle (Essential)
