Mechanical Project Engineer (Hull)

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for managing complex projects from start to finish? Our client, a leader in engineering and construction for some of the world's top corporations, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team.

They are looking for a motivated individual with a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. You'll be the go-to technical expert, leading project and client teams and tackling any issues that come up. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with key project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Managing material and equipment procurement and tracking.

  • Ensuring work aligns with project specifications and quality assurance plans.

  • Writing reports and presenting to directors and relevant parties.

  • Providing technical support to the construction team.

  • Coordinating with client teams and contractors to ensure designs meet all legal and regulatory standards.

What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience with a recognised mechanical contractor, specifically in process mechanical/pipework.

  • Excellent organisational and project planning skills.

  • Proficiency in Navisworks and database systems related to engineering functions.

  • Experience with Primavera or other project planning software, as well as CAD/BIM processes.
