Senior Integration and Test Engineer – Bristol based some UK and International Travel

We're looking for two Senior Integration and Test Engineers to support a high-profile, technically complex defence programme. This role is critical in bringing together software and hardware elements into a fully integrated and operational system.

You'll be part of a small, focused team that is hands-on, agile, and works in highly secure environments. If you're someone who thrives on solving real-world problems, is technically curious, and doesn't mind getting your hands dirty — this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading hardware & software integration and testing activities across system lifecycles
  • Developing integration plans and executing hands-on testing and trials
  • Investigating system issues, both onsite and offsite, and supporting resolution
  • Reporting on test activities and supporting stakeholder decisions
  • Managing integration facilities and equipment to meet statutory/regulatory compliance
  • Supporting team members and stakeholders with practical, technical advice
  • Adapting to evolving project stages – including future work on naval platforms (vessels)

  • Potential work on naval vessels 18 months into the programme
  • Hands-on, practical experience
    in system integration and testing
  • Strong understanding of the
    systems engineering lifecycle
  • Comfortable working in a
    highly secure, regulated lab environment
  • Adventurous mindset – enjoys travel, field work, and variety
  • Exposure to
    complex systems
    – both software and hardware integration
  • Experience defining
    test requirements
    , executing test plans, and resolving issues
  • Comfortable working in a small, agile technical team
  • Open-minded, flexible, and eager to
    learn and upskill
