About Big River Agency
Big River is a fast-growing Amazon agency based in Ashley Cross, Poole, working with some of the UK and Europe's most exciting food and drink brands — including Tetley, Jack Daniel's BBQ Sauces, Jubel, and many more.
We help brands thrive on Amazon through a combination of sales, marketing, operations, and creative strategy — offering full-service solutions across both Vendor and Seller Central. Our collaborative, energetic team believes in doing things properly: combining data-driven insight with strong creative storytelling.
As we continue expanding our European presence, we're looking for a passionate and detail-driven SEO & Catalogue Specialist to join our growing team.
The Role
As an SEO & Catalogue Specialist, you'll be responsible for improving product visibility, discoverability, and conversion across Amazon. You'll play a critical role in ensuring listings are fully optimised, compliant, and accurately represented across all marketplaces.
This is a hands-on role that combines SEO strategy, catalogue management, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll manage content optimisation, technical submissions, and compliance tasks while supporting other business areas — ensuring smooth product launches, visibility improvements, and strong conversion results.
You'll work closely with the PPC, Creative, Operations, and Client teams to deliver against shared KPIs and ensure each brand's Amazon presence performs at its best.
Key Responsibilities
SEO & Content Optimisation
- Conduct detailed keyword research using tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Amazon Brand Analytics.
- Write and optimise titles, bullet points, and product descriptions for maximum search performance and conversion.
- Monitor and report on search term ranking improvements and organic visibility growth.
Catalogue & Compliance Management
- Manage product catalogue accuracy across Vendor and Seller Central.
- Upload NIS sheets for new product submissions and ensure they pass compliance checks.
- Submit and manage variation relationships, ensuring accurate and compliant product hierarchy.
- Handle Brand Registry registrations, compliance documentation uploads, and required approvals.
- Verify that product submissions, variations, and A+ Content updates display correctly on live detail pages.
- Identify and resolve listing errors, suppressed listings, and inactive ASINs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the PPC team to ensure organic and paid strategies align for ranking and conversion.
- Support the Creative team with basic graphic design tasks (e.g. resizing assets, simple layouts) to help manage workload.
- Collaborate with Operations/Finance to ensure catalogue data supports accurate reporting and stock management.
- Partner with Client Account Managers to deliver against client KPIs and ensure timely completion of catalogue tasks.
Requirements
- 1–2 years' experience in SEO, catalogue management, or e-commerce (Amazon experience preferred).
- Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on persuasive, keyword-optimised copy.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for data uploads and tracking.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic understanding of image handling and design tools (e.g. Photoshop or Canva).
- Proactive communicator who enjoys cross-team collaboration.
What We Offer
- A collaborative and friendly team environment in our Ashley Cross office.
- Flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
- Dedicated support and ongoing training in Amazon SEO, compliance, and catalogue management.
- Opportunity to work with leading FMCG brands such as Tetley, Jack Daniel's BBQ Sauces, and Jubel.
- A day off for your birthday each year.
- Health insurance perks after 12 months of service.
- Team socials, great coffee, and a voice in shaping the future of Big River.
