Salary - £27,466.64 plus an additional 17.5% shift allowance

The role

• To effectively deliver a waste away service from the Terminal and surrounding site.
• To transfer waste in a timely and effective manner.
• To deliver the end-to-end process for the retail waste away process including delivery of recycling, food and waste bags.
• Waste sortation at source in the recycling plant.

What will make you successful in the role?

• Knowledge of waste away processes
• Physically able to carry out the tasks including manoeuvring up to 1100 litre wheelie bins
• Able to understand a peak and flow operation and react in real time to operational requirements
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 3 points
• Ideally able to drive a vehicle of large transit size.
• Manual handling compliant.
• Always ensure your personal safety and the safety of others.
• Co-operate with your line manager / team leader in meeting H&S requirements.
• Comply with all appropriate rules, instructions and procedures
