Hours required:
10 hours per week (over 4 days)

Salary:
 £12.50 per hour (paid monthly)

Rota to include four days on, four days off.

Tyneside Badminton Centre is looking for
two
Cleaning Supervisors, to provide a high quality, reliable and consistent cleaning services in line with cleaning practice and health and safety regulations.

Role and responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning and general housekeeping duties, including: vacuuming, dusting, emptying waste bins, damp cleaning, sanitising, and polishing of fixtures, fittings and furniture, mopping and buffing of playing areas
  • Assist with the reporting of stock levels
  • Assist with the reporting of damage and defects to the facility supplies, fixtures, fittings, and furniture
  • Maintain the security of the facility and its contents
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Essential

  • Knowledge and experience of COSHH procedures (Control of substances hazardous to health)
  • Able to work effectively without direct supervision
  • Able to follow specific written and verbal procedures accurately, safely, and consistently
  • Good communication skills

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience of cleaning
  • COSHH Certificate
  • Experience of using buffing machines
  • Experience of ordering consumables/cleaning materials
