Electronics Engineer

Poole, Dorset | Permanent | Competitive Salary

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK technology manufacturer seeking an experienced
Electronics Engineer
to join their design and development team. The company specialises in safety-critical control systems and is investing in a new generation of innovative products.

The Role

You'll work within a small engineering team designing
electronic schematics, PCB layouts
, and
embedded software
for a range of microcontroller-based products. The role includes prototyping, testing to industry standards, documenting development work, and providing technical support.

Occasional UK site visits may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype and test electronic products
  • Develop embedded software (C/C++)
  • Create technical documentation and updates
  • Support internal teams and customers
  • Contribute to ongoing product development

About You

  • 1+ year experience in electronic design
  • Level 5+ qualification in Electronics or equivalent experience
  • Strong C/C++ and Git skills
  • Experience with STM32 or PIC microcontrollers
  • Confident in schematic capture and PCB design
  • Easy-PC experience beneficial but not essential
  • Backgrounds in automation, control systems, or industrial engineering also considered
