Cleaner

About the role:

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Cleaner on a part-time permanent basis. This role will involve taking responsibility for ensuring that the academy is kept clean, tidy and sanitised in order to maintain an excellent school environment for staff and pupils. The successful candidate will ensure that their work is carried out to the highest possible standard, monitoring and reporting on the condition of each area on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will:

• have experience of cleaning (preferably in a school)
• be hard working and adaptable to change
• have good interpersonal skills
• have an enthusiasm for and an active interest in children's welfare
• be able to use their initiative

Ark Blacklands Primary Academy is Hastings' fastest-improving primary school. Located near the 109-acre Alexandra Park, we recently celebrated winning the East Sussex Healthy Schools Excellence Award.
