Looking for meaningful weekend work that fits around your life — and actually pays well?

At Louisa Homecare Ltd, we believe care work should be rewarding, flexible, and full of heart. Whether you're looking to top up your income, return to work after a break, or do something truly worthwhile — this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Weekend Carer, you'll be supporting older adults in their own homes across Melksham. Your role will focus on:

  • Helping clients with their morning routines — washing, dressing, and getting ready for the day
  • Preparing breakfast or lunch and ensuring meals are enjoyed
  • Supporting with medications and wellbeing checks
  • Providing companionship and conversation to brighten someone's morning
  • Helping with light household tasks where needed

Every visit is unique. Some clients need a practical helping hand, others simply appreciate a friendly face and a chat over a cup of tea.

What You'll Need

  • A valid UK driving licence and your own car
  • Availability to work every or alternate weekends
  • A caring nature, friendly personality, and good spoken English
  • No previous care experience required — full training provided

What You'll Get

  • £15.00 – £22.00 per hour (based on experience, training & seniority)
  • Paid travel time & waiting time
  • Mileage reimbursed at £0.45/mile
  • Paid induction & ongoing training to grow your skills
  • Career progression opportunities
  • DBS paid by us
  • Company pension
  • Guaranteed hours contracts (with flexibility)
  • Supportive team who'll always have your back
  • Uniform and full PPE provided

Sound Like You?
