encompasses the two main entities in the UK, The Doctors Laboratory (TDL) and Health Services Laboratories (HSL). With our core laboratory based at The Halo Building in London WC1H 9AX, we also have an expanding site in Manchester as well as smaller hospital-based laboratories across the country. We are currently recruiting for a HR systems Analyst to support our expanding HR Systems team to support organisational growth and delivering a fully functional HR system. The HR systems Analyst will work across multiple HR software platforms and data bases, engaging with stakeholders to ensure HR systems are being used to their full potential, data is accurate and timely, and the business receiving a return on its investments.
Working closely with the Head of HR Systems, the Analyst will support with system related tasks, perform system configurations and work through system upgrades and testing where required. Experience supporting system migration, upgrades, or large – scale systems changes is essential for this role along with strong knowledge of HR systems and reporting.
Main Duties
- Maintain the HR systems, including but not limited to HR system, LMS and benefit platforms (Totara & Perkbox) to ensure all platforms are configured, patched, and delivering on expected business requirements.
- Analyse business requirements, provide conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, perform necessary HR system configurations.
- Support implementation tasks and activities related to the HR system as required.
- Modifying workflow changes, functionality and adding users within the HR System.
- Providing support to end-users of HR system and ensure incidents are resolved promptly.
- Providing production support for the HR system and its integration points with other software and modules and ensuring technical documentation is kept up to date.
- Test and validate any system updates, whilst ensuring business processes are maintained in a non-disruptive manner.
- Support HR technology projects or initiatives involving the core HR system.
- Enhance and maintain the configuration of HR systems to ensure efficient business process automation.
- Work with the various HR system vendors to develop and maintain system road maps and upgrade schedules.
- Serve as troubleshooting resource and work with the various vendors to resolve complex systems issues.
- Understand reporting requirements and match to HR system reporting tools.
- Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly security access reports across various systems.
- Perform analysis on the level of access that users have access to and escalate potential issues to management.
- Monitor and report on trends of information security and data access issues and make recommendations for corrective actions.
- Support the HR Systems administrator to ensure processes are set up to proactively validate and reconcile system data to guarantee accurate Management Information and payroll-feeding datasets.
- Support the resolution of any issues raised with the HR Systems team, and ensure any risks, faults or technical concerns are managed within externally agreed SLAs; log and track incident and problem records until closure.
- Support the HR Systems & Reporting Administrator to prepare, validate and distribute accurate MI, ad-hoc reports, and dashboards. Support them with complex data manipulation and reconciliation using Excel (VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables) and query or extract data from HR systems as required.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports in Tableau, Power BI and HR system reporting tools to translate data into a digestible format and narrative for stakeholders.
- Identify recurring system issues and implement proactive fixes that improve reliability and user satisfaction.
- Develop and update documentation and audit processes.
