Pennies at Hockers Lane are recruiting a Room Leader for their Bigger Bees room which is aged for children of 1yr to 18mths/20mths which is the elder side of the Bumble Bees Baby unit. The unit join together for breakfast and sharing activities.
A Level 3 Childcare qualification and at least 1 year's work experience leading a team in a care/education setting is required for this role.
Within the room there are 2 Nursery Practitioners which this role will supervise and lead to ensure smooth running of the room.
The unit can take up to a maximum of 15 children, the unit is divided into two rooms, 9 children in the Bigger Bees room and 6 babies in the Baby Bumbles room of the unit.
The role is a 4 day position working 37.5hrs per week worked over 4 days between Monday and Friday.
The shift pattern of the nursery is 7.20am to 17.20pm and 8.30am and 18.30pm and staff tend to work one week of earlies and one week of lates.
