From our charming offices in the heart of Leamington Spa, we've created some of the most high-profile and widely downloaded titles in the XR space. With a large team of passionate professionals, we're poised for exponential growth in the exciting realms of XR, MR, and the metaverse.
Our studio prides itself on fostering a supportive and creative environment where innovation thrives. Our ethos, "Making Games With Heart and Soul," is at the core of everything we do. By joining Soul Assembly now, you'll be stepping into a world of limitless possibilities, where your technical expertise can truly make an impact.
The Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Soul Assembly, you'll be the backbone of our development teams, ensuring our build services infrastructure runs like clockwork to fuel the creation of ground-breaking videogames. We're seeking a proactive problem-solver with a passion for reliability and efficiency, who can support our talented teams crafting leading-edge titles using Unity and Unreal Engine.
In this pivotal role, you'll champion fast, dependable builds that empower our game developers to deliver seamless experiences to QA, reviewers, publishers, and stakeholders—whether for testing, submissions, internal reviews, or beyond. Your work will span multiple teams, driving the studio's success by maintaining and monitoring our infrastructure, tracking build performance, and providing crystal-clear visibility into outcomes, from individual runs to long-term trends.
You'll take ownership of our build hardware and software ecosystem, keeping everything up-to-date and scaling capacity to meet future demands. With ample scope for leadership, you'll influence and implement enhancements to our systems, delivering best-in-class services that keep us ahead of the curve. And let's not forget the creative side: leverage your software development chops to craft ingenious tools, like automated testing solutions, that supercharge our game titles and streamline workflows.
Collaboration is at the heart of our studio, and you'll engage proactively with development teams and the wider studio to understand needs, prioritise improvements, and communicate clear roadmaps for our DevOps evolution. We're looking for someone who thrives on technical challenges, communicates with clarity, and brings infectious enthusiasm to every build.
In this position, you'll have the chance to shape the infrastructure behind XR innovation, tackling the unique demands of game development while pushing the boundaries of what's possible in virtual reality. Your expertise will be instrumental as we continue to innovate and grow.
