A Large primary school in Harrow are looking for an experienced primary school teacher to join their teaching team in January to take class teaching responsibilities in KS2.

The role

In this role you will taking full class teaching responsibilities for a class within Year 5. Children at the school are engaged in learning and behaviour in good across the school. There is a diverse intake and some pupils will require additional learning support. As a two-form entry school, you will work with the other class teacher to plan lessons and complete assessments but will also benefit from a close and supportive leadership and teaching team within the school.

The school are looking for an experienced, engaging and dedicated primary teacher with experience in KS2. You should have good curriculum knowledge and will be able to bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach to bring subjects to life. Good classroom management and differentiation skills are important.

This two form entry Primary school is based in central Barnet with good links to public transport. As a church school, they serve and embrace the local community, the diversity of which means the school reflects many different faiths and languages. Teachers create a range of engaging and exciting lessons following the national curriculum and enjoy their location to access a range of additional local learning opportunities.

There is a hardworking and committed leadership and staff team in place and they offer a range of professional development training within the school and the borough.
