Marketing Manager & Content Creator – £30,000 - £35000 per year (Full-Time, 40 hours per week)

Location: Belfast

We are a locally focused retail group operating a range of trusted brands, including SPAR, Subway, Post Office, Off Sales, and Butchery departments. We take pride in serving our community with quality, convenience, and friendly service - and we're now looking for a creative, hands-on Marketing Manager & Content Creator to help us grow our local presence both in-store and online.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative marketer who loves storytelling, design, and digital media. You'll run and control all marketing activity across our stores, with a strong focus on content creation and social media growth.

You'll be the voice and visual storyteller of our brand - creating videos, photos, and posts that highlight our people, products, and community. From capturing daily activity in-store to promoting seasonal offers and local events, you'll bring our story to life in an authentic and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run and control marketing plans to promote all areas of the business.
  • Create original, high-quality content for social media - including photos, videos, stories, and posts.
  • Build and manage our social media following across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.
  • Work with store managers to plan and deliver local promotions, community events, and campaigns.
  • Analyse engagement and campaign performance, using insights to drive growth and improvement.
  • Ensure consistent branding and tone of voice across all marketing materials and locations.

About You

  • Experience in marketing, social media management, or digital content creation - ideally in retail, hospitality, or FMCG.
  • Proven track record of growing social media audiences and producing engaging visual content.
  • Confident using tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Skilled in photography and/or short-form video creation (mobile content creation experience welcome).
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Organised, creative, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Passionate about local business and community engagement.
