We are a continually growing service providing support for individuals with a range of mental health and learning disabilities, looking for someone to join our office team to support the management team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to support our daily operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the office runs smoothly, provide administrative support to the team, and assist with basic financial tasks. Candidates with bookkeeping experience or knowledge will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars
- Prepare and organize documents, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain filing systems (digital and physical)
- Order and manage office supplies
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Support HR tasks such as onboarding and maintaining employee records
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks (e.g., invoices, expense tracking, reconciliations)
Desirable (Not Essential) Credentials:
- Bookkeeping knowledge or experience (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software)
- Certificate or training in bookkeeping or accounting
Requirements:
- Previous experience in office administration or similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
