Job title: Traffic Administrator
Location: Head Office Elgin
Hours: 35 hours a week
Job description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Traffic Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with drivers, monitor working time directive & EU drivers hours regulations to ensure compliance with regulations
Ensure legal time frames are adhered to in relation to the recording of vehicle & driver documentation.
Assist in arranging annual driver training.
Monitor & record fuel & Ad Blue usage.
Schedule vehicle maintenance.
Provide administrative assistance to depot managers.
Order, record & monitor PPE uniform orders for all depots & filling stations.
Monitor & record vehicle trye checks, arrange replacements where required.
Apply for vehicle road tax.
Assist with maintaining, ordering company lease vehicles.
Produce daily vehicle unavailability report, liaising with maintenance providers.
Requirements:
Proven experience in traffic administration, logistics coordination, or a related field.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Knowledge of fuel industry regulations and safety standards are preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software or systems is an asset.
