TRAINEE BUS DRIVERS WANTED

Are you passionate about driving and providing excellent customer service? Do you want to join a well-established, family-run business with a strong reputation in the community? Richards Bros is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Trainee Bus Driver

No experience? No problem We provide full training to help you obtain your PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) license and become a confident, skilled bus driver.

The Role:

As a Trainee Bus Driver, you will:

  • Undergo comprehensive training to obtain your PCV license.
  • Safely operating buses, following all traffic law and regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer service to our passengers
  • Assisting passengers with boarding, seating and any special needs.
  • Conducting daily walkaround checks on your allocated vehicle.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-kept bus interior.
  • Learning & following established routes & schedules.
  • Handling fares and providing accurate change
  • Reporting any accidents, incidents or maintenance issues.
  • Follow all company policies and road safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:

  • A full UK driving license (held for at least 1 year).

  • A friendly, approachable attitude and excellent communication skills.

  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Be able to pass a PCV medical test

  • Fully funded PCV training and support throughout your career. Subject to 2 year training commitment contract - should you wish to leave during the 2 year period you will be liable to pay back your training fees in full.

Hourly rate:

  • Whilst Training - £12.21
  • After full training - Monday to Friday - £14.00 & Weekends - £15.00
