Supply Primary Teacher – Brighton & Hove (Short-term & Day-to-Day)

Location: Brighton & Hove, East Sussex

Hours: Flexible – short-term and day-to-day cover (term time)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £120–£140 per day for short-term/day-to-day cover; paid to scale for long-term placements.

We're building a trusted team of supply primary teachers to cover short-term and day-to-day assignments. If you're adaptable, organised and enjoy variety across key stages, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:


• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure continuity of learning during teacher absence.


• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, constructive environment.


• Provide clear feedback on pupil progress and any issues for the returning teacher.


• Adapt to different year groups, routines and school policies quickly.

Skills & Experience / What We're Looking For:


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Confidence working across primary age ranges and with diverse groups of learners.


• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.


• Reliability, flexibility and good communication with school staff.

• Day-to-day and short-term work with scope for longer placements.
