B2B Exhibitions is a London-based design and production company specialising in bespoke

exhibition stands, interactive installations, and custom-built environments for a wide range of

clients.

We are looking for a Middle-weight Designer to join our creative and hands-on team. This role

sits at the intersection of design, fabrication, CNC operation, and project management,

offering a dynamic opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing their designs come to life — from

concept to completion.

About the Role

As a Middle-weight Designer, you'll take projects from initial concept through to fabrication and

installation. You'll develop design proposals, prepare accurate drawings for production, operate

CNC machinery, and collaborate closely with the workshop and wider project team to ensure

efficient, high-quality delivery.

This position requires a well-organised, proactive designer who is comfortable working both

digitally and hands-on in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D concepts and detailed production drawings for bespoke exhibition and interior

builds.

  • Prepare and operate files for CNC machining using Fusion 360 and VCarve.

  • Support and participate in hands-on fabrication and assembly in the workshop.

  • Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and freelancers to maintain design intent

and efficiency.

  • Create design presentations, visuals, and artwork guides using Adobe Illustrator and

related tools.

  • Maintain organised project documentation, material lists, and schedules.

  • Participate in on-site installations as required.

Requirements

  • Strong CAD skills, preferably Fusion 360.

  • Experience or strong interest in CNC operation and fabrication.

  • Familiarity with SketchUp, KeyShot, and VCarve is a plus.

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator.

  • Excellent organisation, communication, and administrative skills.

  • Computer literate, adaptable, and a fast learner.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail across design and production stages.
