Senior Education Support Officer

This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part time hours.

About the role

Looking for a role where your support can change a student's whole school experience? As a Senior Education Support Officer at Queen Elizabeth II High School, you'll provide targeted support and intervention for students with additional educational needs. You'll mentor pupils 1:1, guide small groups, support emotional regulation and act as a keyworker to help students stay confident, engaged and ready to learn.

You'll work closely with teachers, parents and professionals, contribute to behaviour strategies and help remove barriers to learning so every student can achieve their best.
