Contract: Maternity Cover from November, day and waking night shifts

About The Role

Your role will be dedicated to working with a child with complex needs who has a tracheostomy and is ventilated, in their own home. Working to build a professional, working relationship and supporting them with their activities of daily living, social and leisure activities at home or in the community.

This post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

Term Time

Monday to Friday Days: 7am to 7pm

Saturday: 1pm to 5pm (Alternate)

Sunday: 12pm to 6pm

Non Term Time

Monday to Friday Days: 12pm to 8pm

Saturday: 1pm to 5pm (Alternate)

Sunday: 12pm to 6pm

Waking Nights

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday 9pm - 7.30am

Friday & Saturday 10.30pm - 9am

About You

Required

· Experience of working in a support role

· Friendly, approachable and confident

· Experience and ability to understand and deal with complex needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator experience

· Flexible in approach to meet the needs of the client

· Experience of working with complex children

· Non smoker

Desirable

· Registered on the DBS update service
