Working pattern: 35 hours per week. Monday-Thursday in our Head Office in Lancaster, work from home on Fridays (flexible working options will be considered)
In this pivotal role, you will lead and coordinate activities within a dynamic product development team, working alongside colleagues at all levels to support and ensure delivery of innovative qualifications, assessments and resources. You'll collaborate across the organisation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain accurate qualification data, and drive the development and implementation of high-quality solutions, including e-Assessment. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide effective line management, supporting and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
In this role you will be required to:
- Support the development of qualifications, and assessments and resources, development in line with Ascentis procedures and standards.
- Monitor and stay up to date with government and sector policies that influence product development processes. Coordinate product review activities, ensuring timely implementation of changes to maintain compliance. Maintain accurate and current qualification data within our internal systems and database.
- Create and manage efficient systems, templates, and procedural documentation to streamline workflows. Provide administrative guidance and support to Product Development Managers, helping them achieve project milestones.
- Act as a point of contact with regulators and respond promptly to customer enquiries with professionalism.
- Produce reports, schedule and attend project meetings, and contribute to risk assessments and service improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate UK and international product catalogues ensuring databases are updated and maintained effectively. Manage day-to-day administration and provide effective line management for Product Development Assistants, ensuring clear communication, workload prioritisation, and professional development within the team.
