Corporate Tax Accountant – Bath (Full or Part Time)
£34,000 – £40,000 DOE | On-site Parking 

Hatched Talent Solutions are proud to be the recruitment partner for a long-established, family-run accountancy practice based in Odd Down, Bath. With over 40 years of experience supporting clients across the Bath and Bristol area, this small but dedicated team is offering a rare opportunity for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join their close-knit firm.

The role involves a blend of corporate tax responsibilities and accounts preparation for limited companies, offering you the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, build lasting relationships, and take real ownership of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit company accounts, corporation tax returns, and tax computations
  • Conduct company secretarial work and compliance, including:
    • Company incorporations with Companies House
    • Submission of CS01, DS01, CT61, and ATED returns
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
  • Liaise with HMRC and other relevant authorities
  • Confidently use platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Hubdoc

Skills & Experience:

  • ATT or AAT qualified, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years of corporate tax and general accountancy experience
  • Solid knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements
  • Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and deadlines
