At Apollo Vets, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Their dedication anchors our commitment to delivering exceptional care for pets and their owners. We're now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Practice Manager to join our team, overseeing our three sites. Your main base will be our Black Notley practice, with regular visits to our Dunmow and Maldon branches (1–2 days per week). You'll work closely with our Practice Director to ensure operational excellence and consistency across all locations.
Veterinary experience is essential for this role, and we're ideally looking for someone with an RVN qualification or strong clinical background who understands the day-to-day running and challenges of practice life.
Role Details
As our Practice Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the team and ensuring the smooth running of our practice group. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily operations across all three sites, ensuring efficiency and consistency
- Leading, motivating and supporting the clinical and administrative teams to deliver exceptional patient and client care
- Working closely with the Practice Director on business planning, growth and strategic development
- Managing budgets, financial performance and resource allocation across the practice
- Implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and compliance with RCVS and other regulations
- Acting as a first point of contact for staff and clients on operational matters
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and development of team members
- Promoting a positive, collaborative and supportive culture across all sites
Fix or Flex – Find Your Perfect Balance
We're committed to helping our people achieve a healthy work-life balance. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, typically across five days, with flexibility where possible and some travel between sites. There are no out-of-hours requirements for this role.
