This is a lovely small school in the Sevenoaks area. You must be able to drive to access the location. Working in a team of two you will immediately see the difference you can make on a daily basis.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a primary school, ensuring that all areas are clean, presentable and welcoming. This role is essential in upholding our standards of cleanliness and providing a safe environment for both staff and visitors.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitise hygiene areas, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks in a timely manner.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning is desirable although full training will be given if none.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or prolonged standing.
