Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring that events run smoothly and that guests have an enjoyable experience. This position involves working at various events, including corporate functions, weddings, and public gatherings, where you will be responsible for managing guest services and providing exceptional hospitality.

Duties

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assist them with any inquiries or needs.
  • Run food and drinks.
  • Make drinks.
  • Take orders.
  • Learn our menus.
  • Manage the flow of guests during events to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Provide information about the event schedule, facilities, and services available.
  • Assist with setting up and dismantling event spaces, including arranging furniture and decorations.
  • Monitor guest behaviour to ensure compliance with venue regulations and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to deliver high-quality service throughout the event.
  • Handle any issues or complaints from guests promptly and professionally.
  • Cocktail experience is a plus

Skills

  • Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Team player mentality with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
  • Previous experience in event management or hospitality is advantageous but not essential.
