The
Maintenance Engineer
role has the primary responsibility for maintenance and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities, establishing and following safe maintenance work practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize output.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and contractors for timely servicing and repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and repairs to prevent breakdowns.
  • Ensure machinery and equipment operate reliably and efficiently.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering.
