Technical Recruiter Specialised Tech (initial 12 month FTC)

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to help us find and hire the people who power Deliveroo's data and product ecosystem from the scientists shaping our machine learning models to the analysts and product experts driving smarter decisions every day. This role sits within our Tech Recruiting team and reports into the Recruiting Manager, Tech (UK).

The Specialised tech team focuses on hiring across Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, Product & other areas partnering closely with hiring managers, sourcers, and cross-functional teams to build diverse, high-performing talent pipelines. Your impact will go beyond filling roles. You'll help define how we approach hiring in these fast-evolving areas, shaping strategies that connect world-class technical talent with the challenges that make Deliveroo such an exciting place to build.

What you'll be doing:

Support hiring for specialised tech roles

You'll manage end-to-end recruitment across mid-level specialised technical roles from sourcing to offer. You'll partner with hiring managers to define requirements, build diverse pipelines, and deliver a standout experience for every candidate.

Build trusted partnerships

You'll work closely with sourcers, hiring managers, and HRBPs understanding business goals, shaping hiring strategies, and making sure we're aligned on what great looks like.

Use data to guide decisions

From hiring metrics to pipeline health, you'll use insights to track progress, spot opportunities, and influence outcomes. You'll bring a data-led mindset to help teams hire smarter and faster.

Improve how we recruit

You'll help streamline workflows, raise quality, and bring consistency to how we assess talent. That includes collaborating on process improvements that make us more scalable as we grow.

Champion inclusive hiring

You'll embed DE&I principles into every stage of the process from diversifying sourcing channels to reducing bias in assessment. You'll also partner with the team on inclusive campaigns and initiatives.

Create great candidate experiences

You'll set the tone from first touchpoint to final offer, making sure every candidate has a clear, respectful, and engaging experience — one that reflects what it's like to work at Deliveroo.

Collaborate with the global recruiting team

You'll contribute to cross-functional projects, share best practices, and support a culture of learning and collaboration across the wider recruiting team.

What you'll bring

• 2–5 years of experience in a technical recruitment agency or in-house tech environment

• Experience hiring across technical specialisms like Data Science, Machine Learning Analytics, Produce Management or Product Design

• End-to-end hiring experience in fast-paced, often ambiguous environments

• Strong sourcing skills across platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Ashby, with a focus on building diverse talent pipelines

• Confidence using data to inform decisions, track progress, and communicate clearly with stakeholders

• Comfortable advising and influencing hiring managers and senior partners; you know how to build alignment

• Genuine curiosity about how different technical teams work together to build great products

• Adaptability -you can pivot quickly and keep things moving when priorities shift
