Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, providing exceptional service, and ensuring that our bar area is welcoming and well-maintained.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Engage with customers to provide an enjoyable experience, taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol consumption.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Keep track of inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
  • Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices during beverage preparation and service.
  • Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service skills as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage service.
  • Proficiency in basic maths for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their experience at our establishment.
